The Tcare alternating pressure mattress was designed to provide relief from bed sores and ulcers caused from prolonged bed rest. Equipped with 22 individually heat sealed air chamber for even weight disbursement and superior support. Designed to be placed on top of a regular bed mattress. It has air-filled channels that alternate filling up and decompressing to keep bearing weight off certain areas, and allows blood flow to reach different areas of the body of immobilized or weak patients who cannot shift their weight frequently.

Each group has 11 air chambers. And each group is alternately deflated and inflated to create a mattress surface that evenly distributes a patient or loved one's weight and eliminates pressure spots.

The principle of fluctuation is the two air chambers cycle exhaust.The air pump has two air outlet connected to the two air Chambers respectively.

So, When one chamber is saturated with air, the other air chamber slightly exhausts.After 15 minutes, the two Chambers are exchanged for inflate and exhaust.

Thus ,during use ,only one channel of this pump provides pressure, while the other channel stops providing pressure;The two channels alternate every 15 minutes. In other words, during use, only one group of the air chamber of the inflatable mattress is filled with air, while the other one is not full. After 15 minutes, the two groups of air chambers exchange work. The air chamber previously filled with air starts to ventilate, while the air chamber previously unfilled with air starts to inflate.

This design can constantly change body's poistion on bed to prevent bedsores.
